Better View Landscapes

Fleet & Equipment Maintenance Technician (Ford Fleet & Commercial Landscape Equipment)

Hadley, MA, US$56,000-$76,000Posted 3 months ago

Job Description

Are You the Person Everyone Calls When Something Breaks?

Do you enjoy diagnosing problems and figuring out how to fix them?

Can you manage several repair projects at once while keeping everything organized?

Do you take pride in maintaining a clean, efficient shop where everything has its place?

If you answered yes, Better View Landscapes may be the place for you.

We're looking for a dependable, organized, and mechanically inclined Fleet & Equipment Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance and repair of our growing fleet of (primarily) Ford trucks, trailers, commercial landscape equipment, and snow equipment.

This is much more than a mechanic position. We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership of a shop, managing preventative maintenance schedules, identifying problems before they become breakdowns, and keeping an entire fleet operating efficiently.

Every day brings something different. One morning you may be servicing an F-350, replacing trailer brakes, organizing parts inventory, and changing hydraulic hoses. That afternoon you might be troubleshooting an electrical issue on an electric mower, repairing trailer wiring, rebuilding a mower deck, or delivering equipment to a crew in the field.

If you enjoy variety, solving problems, staying organized, and keeping equipment operating at its best, you'll fit right in.
