You will:</p><ul><li>Perform all functions of tree trimming, maintenance and removals.</li><li>Select proper tools for each task.</li><li>Dependable performance in terms of attendance, acceptance of assignments, and strict adherence to all safety policies and requirements</li><li>Perform other miscellaneous duties as required</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What it takes to succeed:</b></p><ul><li>At least 18 years of age</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Valid state driver’s license</li><li>Preferred 3 years’ experience in arboriculture that includes lead worker or supervisory positions</li><li>Leads and participates in the process of tree maintenance and removals</li><li>Inspects trees for hazards and disease</li><li>Responsible for following safety policy and procedures</li><li>Works with other departments to schedule use of equipment or vehicles or access to restricted areas</li><li>Ability to operate (with proper training) high reach, loaders, vehicles with trailers, chainsaws, pole saws, loppers pruners</li><li>Able to operate and maintain power and hand tools and other equipment in good safe condition</...
