Responsibilities

* Maintain cemetery grounds through regular mowing, trimming, edging, and landscaping * Prepare grave sites for burials, including digging, backfilling, and restoration of turf * Plant, prune, and care for trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation throughout the grounds * Operate and perform routine maintenance on groundskeeping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and tractors * Remove debris, leaves, and litter to keep the cemetery clean and presentable year-round * Repair and maintain pathways, fencing, markers, and other cemetery infrastructure * Respond respectfully and professionally to the needs of visiting families and guests

Requirements

* Prior experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or turf maintenance preferred * Ability to operate riding mowers, hand tools, and light equipment safely * Physical ability to perform outdoor labor in all weather conditions, including lifting and digging * Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of appearance * Compassionate, respectful demeanor when working in a sensitive environment * Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision * Valid driver's license preferred
