Camp Host/Maintenance Landscaping

Sky Lake Resort Landscaping, perform routine and preventative maintenance to maintain the physical integrity of Sky Lake RV Resort. They conduct building, site maintenance repairs and are responsible for cleanliness and upkeep of property grounds, facilities, streets, equipment and various utility systems. Maintenance Technicians provide excellent customer service to prospective, current guests and residents at all times. You may assist with site setups to ensure timely arrivals and departures of resort guests and residents.

Your job will include

• Greeting campers and assisting with check-in
• Answering phones and making reservations through CampSpot
• Cleaning and maintaining common areas
• Enforcing campground rules and quiet hours
• Conducting regular property rounds
• Assisting with guest concerns and emergencies
• Maintaining and repairing water, sewer, and electrical hookups
• Performing plumbing, electrical, and structural repairs
• Mowing, trimming, and maintaining campground grounds
• Completing preventive maintenance and inspections
• Responding to urgent repairs and safety concerns
• Preparing campsites and facilities for seasonal operations and special events

Experience & skills you’ll need:

• · High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Must be able to pass a background check
• · Valid driver’s license
• · Hands on/problem-solving attitude
• · 6+ months previous maintenance experience preferred
• · Demonstrate knowledge and broad experience in general maintenance techniques and repair work
• · Ability to endure seasonal temperatures as working conditions require constant outdoor work
• · General knowledge of janitorial work, plumbing, grounds maintenance & equipment operation
• · Proficient skills in operating various hand tools, power equipment, and commercial machinery
• · Ability to work well independently as well as on a team
• · Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
