Apartment Groundskeeper

We are a locally owned property management company seeking a Groundskeeper for an apartment community. This individual must also have the ability to perform light maintenance duties. This is a full time year round position.

Primary duties include

Pick up trash daily, plant flowers, water flowers and lawn, snow removal in the winter, spread ice melt, etc.

Other duties include

Maintain interior and exterior lights, change furnace filters, and other light maintenance duties.

• Regular work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm. Are you able to work these hours?
• Snow removal is required which will affect your schedule in the winter. Although we are typically able to adjust your schedule to keep you near 40 hours per week, getting snow and ice may mean starting work around 6:00am, occasionally staying after 4:30pm, sometimes weekends and holidays. Is your schedule flexible in the winter?
• This is not a floating position, but you may occasionally need to commute to various locations in the Omaha metro, including Council Bluffs and Papillion. Do you have reliable transportation?
• If we offered you this position, we would send you in for a drug screen and run a background check, looking at your full-life criminal history. Is there anything that will show up on these?
• We have a professional dress code. No tattoos larger than 3-inches may be showing, no facial piercings. Long hair would need to be tucked up under a cap, facial hair must be kept short and well-trimmed. Do you have any concerns with this dress code?
